Stopfrackingaround vs Ozarks

8:15 am, Pilot Knob, Missouri. For once, we got an early start this morning. There was no other choice. Today will probably be the roughest day of the trip so far – we’re going head to head with the Ozark Mountains. 40 or so miles of steep – sometimes 11 degree – inclines. People say this stretch is the worst and that you have to get through it early in the day. Locals laugh at us when we tell them we’re going through on bikes.

Wish me luck!
